In case of staining, it is therefore advisable to wear dark clothing, and avoid wearing items of value.

The adequate treatment of most skin concerns will commonly require more than one SkinPen treatment session, and significant savings can be made by booking sessions in multiples of 3.
At least 4 weeks should pass between each treatment session, to allow for adequate healing to take place and to minimise any adverse effects.
Recovery time post treatment is usually 1-2 days, during which time your skin may be flushed, dry and flaky.
Specific cosmeceuticals can significantly enhance the effects of this treatment, and these can be purchased from your practitioner directly.

A skin care consultation will be carried out prior to any Alumier MD skin peel or home care recommendation to ensure optimal treatment planning and results. Whilst noticeable results can be achieved following a single peel, for skin concerns such as acne, rosacea and pigmentation you may require a course of regular peels.
Although individual responses to skin peels vary considerably, you can expect temporary redness on the day of your peel, with light to moderate flaking or peeling in the following week.

Whilst the action of these injections is largely predictable, individual responses cannot be absolutely guaranteed. With this in mind a review appointment is offered between weeks 2 and 4 to assess response, and a top up can be given if necessary.
